More rain still

Just as I thought the rain would be easing up and we’d see some sun and get some warmth to dry up the still very waterlogged areas of our course, I see some forecasts predicting more of the stuff, and lower temperatures around for mid-to-late this week.

The Masters

Warren Gruskin’s 38 pointer just edged Ryan Brick in a count out on Saturday, with Gary Treger coming in 3rd on 37 Individual Stableford points.

Major Season Loading

Michael Hollick closed with an unbelievable 8-under 64 at Blair Atholl on Sunday to take the DNi Tour Championship in the season-ending ’24-’25 Sunshine Tour, ending up 1 ahead of George Coetzee – who has had an amazing last 2 weeks on Tour – and recent Kenyan Open winner Jacques Kruyswijk.

Golf and Game

Dean Rothbart took the honours in the 2nd leg of the Kappy Junior Series on Sunday when his 42 Individual Stableford points were too good for the rest of the field, including Joseph Bravo’s 39pts and Eli Joffe’s 38pts.
